Oh muddy pond you are
So serene and calm
Filled with filth and despair Unappealing even to plunge my feet in it And yet I see the ability to support life in you. ≈ Blooming from the muddy pond Is a beautiful white lotus Looking upon the heaven, Growing strong regardless of her surroundings ≈ Oh Lotus flower
You are the face of my country You show me how to brim with happiness Despite the sufferings I go through in my daily life Day after day I aspire to grow like you Regardless of my surroundings
